Bidibidi
Bidibidi refugee settlement, Uganda — “I’d spent the day interviewing and taking the portraits of South Sudanese people living in this, the world’s second largest refugee settlement. On the drive out along a hot, dusty track, I spotted this striking woman, pushing her bicycle with a baby strapped to her back. She was just one of hundreds of thousands of civilians who have fled South Sudan over the Ugandan border to escape a devastating war stretching back years.”
Limited edition Giclee print measuring 8” x 12” or 12” x 18” (20.3 x 30.5cm or 30.5 x 45.7cm). Signed on border. Unframed.
The image is printed on Canson Baryta, a smooth and light-gloss paper renowned for its excellent black density, vivid colours and reproduction of detail. Hahnemühle bamboo paper is also available — a more eco-friendly alternative that offers a matt finish and natural, warm-toned feel.
